Günsu Hayriye Ozan is an interdisciplinary artist based in Ottawa, Canada. Originally from Adana, Turkey, Ozan has two fine arts degrees in Graphic Design and Fashion and Textile Design from Yeditepe University, Istanbul, Turkey. In 2022, she graduated from the Ottawa School of Art, where she developed her interdisciplinary approach to art. Ozan draws inspiration from the diverse people and nature surrounding her and focuses on upcycling in her recent works, creating sustainable art from discarded materials. As a queer artist, Ozan is dedicated to promoting inclusivity, sustainability, and positive change through her art.
